The Community Garden program supports gardens in vacant lots and public spaces in Wilmington. The Center helps community groups to locate, lease, and secure appropriate sites, then provides materials, plants, tools, technical advice, and a support network for the groups’ gardening efforts. Wilmington’s community gardeners create positive public spaces and shared activities in inner-city neighborhoods.
