Trees provide the humanizing element needed to make urban spaces more habitable. The DCH Tree Program aids neighborhoods and their residents to make the most of neighborhood street trees through community tree planting initiatives, Tree Stewardship workshops, Arbor Day, Tree Spree , and other urban forestry initiatives. Working closely with state and city officials, DCH provides support, research, and guidance needed to maintain and expand upon the public trees in your community.

To volunteer or initiate a project, obtain a tree permit form, or for more information, contact Patrice Sheehan, Tree Program Manager, at (302) 658-6262 ext. 112.
