| In addition to planting new gardens and street trees, DCH works to improve the beauty of public landscapes, parks and plazas in downtown Wilmington and surrounding neighborhoods through our Public Landscapes program. With the support and sponsorship of local corporations, municipal agencies and community groups, we beautify traffic islands and plazas, facilitate park and open space enhancements, maintain and improve landscapes for public agencies, and play an integral role in many other revitalization initiatives such as the Wilmington Beautification Commission. |
