Beef ‘n’Beef party
at Delaware Center for Horticulture

  

TROLLEY SQUARE – The Delaware Center for Horticulture (DCH) is pleased to announce the date for their annual Beef ‘n’ Beer party on Wednesday, September 17. This popular event for DCH Members and their guests attracted more than 200 people in 2007.

The party will run from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. and features catering by Toscana’s, beer from Twin Lakes Brewing Company and music in the Center’s reception hall. DCH members and people who join DCH at the event will also receive a free plant. Partygoers will be able to enjoy the Center’s lovely facilities on Dupont Street including a private courtyard, an art gallery and terrace gardens overlooking Brandywine Park.

DCH members are invited to bring up to two non-member guests at no charge. The registration cost for DCH members is $15 per person. For more information about this event or about joining DCH, call 302-658-6262 or visit dehort.org.

The Delaware Center for Horticulture (DCH) cultivates greener communities by inspiring appreciation and improvement of the environment through horticulture, education and conservation. Founded in 1977, the Center’s site in Wilmington, Delaware includes a 1.5 acre educational demonstration garden, a 3,000 volume lending library, an art gallery, a lecture hall and a greenhouse.
