2005 Details:
Each autumn, the New Castle County Tree Commission and DCH invite the whole family to celebrate the benefits of trees at the annual Tree Spree Fair, held at a County park facility. The fair features hands-on tree plantings, free native tree seedlings, nature hikes, live demonstrations and exhibits, children's activities, hayrides, and a ceremonial tree planting. Celebration will be held light rain or shine (may be postponed or canceled due to severe weather). This year’s Tree Spree Fair will partner with Pike Creek Community Day and will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at Carousel Park, 3700 Limestone Road (Rt. 7).
