Where can you find rare, newly introduced or difficult to propagate plants? At “the Holy Grail of rare plant auctions” called by noted author and Celebrated Plant Expert Ken Druse. Join us for live and silent auctions of over 500 rare plants.
We are especially pleased to announce that Jeanne O. Shields will be serving as Honorary Chairman of the 28th annual event, and Patrick Cullina, Vice President of Horticulture and Facilities at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in New York will be the Celebrated Plant Expert.
The Rare Plant Auction® benefits the Delaware Center for Horticulture’s Community Greening Program which sustains and encourages community gardening projects throughout neighborhoods of Wilmington, Delaware, transforming lots and streets into inspired garden spaces infused with community pride.
Tickets begin at $200, but for Young Collectors, those 40 years of age and younger, ticket prices begin at $100. Reservations are required and can be made by registering on-line or calling the Delaware Center for Horticulture at (302) 658-6262, ext. 100.
