The Reception Hall (31 x 44 ft.)
The Reception Hall serves as the main gathering space at DCH for lectures, dinners, workshops, dances, fundraisers, and receptions. The space features exposed beams, wooden floors, and a view of the Terrace Gardens at DCH.

Ideal for smaller ceremonies and receptions, the Pavilion overlooks Brandywine Park and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and historic artifacts.

Courtyard (34 x 55 ft.)
Whether tented or open, DCH’s lovely Courtyard offers an open air setting for weddings, receptions, parties, dinners, lunches, or concerts.

Glass Atrium (18 x 36 ft.)
Surrounded by lush container plants, the Glass Atrium offers a unique and airy space for small events.

Rental Fees
One time rental of the Reception Hall, Courtyard, Garden Terrace, Dupont Pavilion, and Atrium facilities is discounted 10% for those who become members of DCH.
Wedding ceremonies only can be held after business hours and on weekends. All other events or meetings can be held during or after business hours and on weekends. There is no charge for set up and break down an hour before and after the scheduled starting and closing times of the event. Additional set-up and break-down time must be approved by the Facility Rental Coordinator and is charged at the rate of $150 / hour.
Rental Fee does not include tables, chairs, linens, slide or digital projector.
Podium and screen available.
Parking: Available for 40 cars & 2 handicap spaces; valet parking recommended for more than 40 cars.
Other Information
DCH requires a $150 nonrefundable deposit to secure a date at the time of signing the rental agreement. The balance of the rental fee and a $500 security / damage deposit is due three (3) weeks prior to the event. Full refund of security deposit, less any charges for loss, damage, or violation of the contract and regulations will be made after the event.
DCH requires that you provide evidence of personal liability insurance with limits of no less than $1,000,000. This requirement can be fulfilled by providing a Certificate of General Liability Insurance naming DCH as an additional insured.
